I am forever on the lookout for inspiring and uplifting quotes. I knew that my Imagine mixed media products would work wonders to make this piece come alive! When i'm working with resin pieces, I always reach for my Fireworks sprays and All-Purpose Ink.
We all need a little inspiration sometimes and, for this project, I took my inspiration from the Impressionism style of paintings from the 1860s. It resulted in a fun project using the All-Purpose inks and other Imagine products to create a miniature floral scene on a 4”x4” flat panel canvas.

I used irRESISTible Pico Embellisher on the wire mesh texture to give this tag a little bit of color. It's just thick enough to fill the holes and looks fantastic! Doodlestix, embossing powder, and Fireworks spray team up to make the most wonderful wintery background for the cute snowman! I really love making impressions with stamps in embossing powder. You can get some very exciting and sometimes unexpected results. The Doodlestix worked perfectly to help create a swirling winter snow scene for this mixed media card.
I adore blue and silver as a holiday color scheme (or any time of year, for that matter). I created this card with a frosted-looking inside scene (courtesy of Creative Medium mixed with VersaColor) and a fun spinner element in the front-panel frame. The Rinea foiled paper is sturdy enough to hold its shape, even when cut so delicately, making this card a real display piece for the holidays.
For today’s Wedding Day card, I used the Rinea Foil Papers which can be embossed, die cut and shaped. I used a floral die set to cut the flower petals and with the help of a metal brad fixed them together.
I created a wintery background with Doodlestix, a Gelli Press, All-Purpose Inks, and Fireworks sprays from Imagine.

How about a little out-of-this-world fun? When trying to come up with a unique card I thought of the theme aliens, so created this sky scene with shades of grey and silver and drew up some simple saucers to decorate the skies.
Ink is not just for paper. You can use it on fabric, metal and more specifically Polyform clay. You can use inks to transform polymer clay projects into a wide variety of pieces. Use ink to simply color your clays projects, use with stamps to add designs, or blend it into the clay to create a new color clay.
Summer can be busy with a hype of activities outside! But just in case there are days when you feel like staying inside you can beat the heat with a cardmaking session. In this tutorial, I go over some basic techniques that you can use on a variety of designs.
For this project, I stamped the sentiment “Love Blossoms Here” onto watercolor paper, personalized it with alphabet stamps, added wire hanging and added a book paper backing to represent the family stories that get created along the way and then passed on.
VersaMagic inks have a longer drying time so they are perfect to use with stencils where you can use multiple colors. I love to use stencils. Rather than clean the stencil, I like to lightly spritz the inked side of the stencil, flip it over, and place it on the second piece of cardstock creating a watercolored panel.
Shades of Tangerine make for a really interesting and effective summertime vibe. Take a look at how blending 3 different shades of Tangerine using StazOn, Memento Luxe and Radiant Neon can really make a resist embossed image come to life.

Fireworks! spray provides an easy way to turn simple white papers into vibrant, colorful backgrounds for card projects. When working on one-layer projects, the stamped image needs to be protected with a mask to avoid the wet ink getting on the main image. For this technique, no special supplies are needed as the masks are created using cheap masking tape and baking paper or wax paper. This technique can be used for various projects; ATC’s, standard sized cards, scrapbook layouts, and art journal pages.

This is a fun project to do with an old photo of yourself, your kids or friends. The only old photo I had in my stash is one taken of me several years ago when I was still working in sales. It is a black and white photo which is great since color can be added to the picture.
