Handmade mixed media panel in copers with a paper doll focal point.

Paper Doll Mixed Media Panel

This mixed media paper doll panel was so fun to make. I used Rinea foil, Creative Medium, foam tape and Tsukineko inks in this crafting project. Rinea foiled paper works beautifully with 3D embossing folders and makes a great foundation for the girls stamped in VersaFine Clair inks. Enjoy!

Greeting Cards made with a single stamp, a single ink pad, a pen and a straight edge.

Beginner Guide: Stamp and Drawing Cards

Sometimes when you’re just starting out stamping you don’t want to have to purchase a bunch of supplies when you’re not sure if you’ll like it or not. Well today I have a really fun and easy technique that will add some spice to your cards and all you need besides stamps, ink, and paper is a pen and a ruler and you don’t even really need a ruler – it can be any straight edge.

What are we going to be doing with the pen…making doodles! It’s really easy and I’ll bet you’ve been practicing this for years without even realizing it. Let’s go!

Layered card featuring a flamingo and tropical leaves made using Memento with layering stamps.

Tropical Layering with Memento

For this card I used a few Memento Inks to stamp the different shades of foliage and the flamingos from a tropical stamp set. For the sentiment "With Love, and Prayers", I used Versafine Clair ink. I took a stamp set which had few layers and created the perfect Tropical theme using first and second generation stamping.

Embossed Foile Paper Border Card

I have a quick and easy card that revisits simple stamping, die-cutting, and embossing. Sometimes all you need is a couple of amazing supplies to put together an amazing card. Handmade cards featuring Rinea foiled appers with stenciling techniques applied on top.

Stenciling Techniques on Foiled Paper

Rinea foil is a fun product to work with, but because it is a nonporous surface it can be a bit tricky to stencil on. I am sharing three different ways to add stenciling to your foiled projects in my video tutorial today! They're all different and have different results, so everyone can find something that works for them!

Sunflower Mixed Media Art Panel

Create a 3D piece of Mixed Media Art with a metal flower and a variety of inks. To add a nice 3D effect to your project, just use metal!  Metal is a great way to add dimension and can even be colored to match with StazOn Pigment ink. The results can really be spectacular!

Two handmade cards featuring sparkly backgrounds made with stencils, various inks and Mboss Sparkle embossing powder.

Sparkly Card Backgrounds

Glittery backgrounds are the best backgrounds! I love anything glittery and the Sparkle MBoss is quickly becoming one of my favorite new embossing powders. It is a clear embossing powder with holographic glitter mixed into it. It's perfect to add over any backgrounds because it doesn't add any color, just shine and sparkle! You can watch the video tutorial to see two different ways to make your backgrounds sparkle!

Handmade twist and pop 3D Disney Memory card with blended backgrounds made with VersaFine Clair ink.

Pop-Up Disney Keepsake

I'm so excited to share this Disney-inspired Twist and Pop 3D Card with you. As you can see, there are 4 panels dedicated to The Little Mermaid, The Lion King, Up and Cinderella. I've used 14 VersaFine Clair ink pads to ink blend all of the backgrounds. I've used several sets of Mama Elephant stamps as well; the images are stamped with Memento ink in Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. I hope you enjoy this magical creation as much as I do!
