Handmade greeting card featuring several rose images made using several kinds of ink with a layered stamp set.

Layered Roses Card

I have used one of my all-time favorite Rose stamp for this card project. I love this stamp because of its realistic layering effect. To achieve this beautiful layering I used a couple of ink types today because you don't have to use all one type of ink when using layered stamps! I used the Memento Inkpads, our brand new Stazon Pigment inks, Radiant Neon inkpad, and VersaMagic inkpads & I was very happy to see the final outcome and the way they all work together.

Handmade greeting card featuring a plaid background made using VersaMagic Inks on kraft cardstock.

Plaid Pattern Background with VersaMagic Inks

To highlight the the versatile properties of the creamy and blendable chalk-finish ink called VersaMagic, I will show you how to make this cute plaid pattern background. The pigment ink shows up brilliantly on the kraft cardstock, but matches it's matte tone. This ink is beautifully thick and shows on darker cardstocks too.

Handmade card featuring a blended night sky background and a London skyline silhouette cut out.

London Night Sky Birthday Card

Today I share with you how to create a Galaxy or night sky using VersaMagic Ink, Brilliance Ink, and MementoLuxe. These creamy inks blend so smoothly and seamlessly that anyone can create a gorgeous night sky. The addition of Sheer Shimmer Spray and white acrylic paint finish this creation. Please join me as I teach you how to create a wonderful Galaxy card.

Colorful Pop-up Butterflies Card

Tsukineko inks are perfect for stamp layering! In today's video, I'm sharing how you can layer VersaMagic and VersaFine Clair inks to create these simple yet gorgeous butterflies, and adhere them together to make a string of pop-up surprise.

Handmade card featuring a winter tree scene in a mason jar shape.

Scene in a Jar Greeting Card

I heat embossed few images with white embossing powder and added color by rubbing the Dewdrop Ink pad directly on them. The embossing created a resist and it was super duper quick to have colored elements ready for the card. I heat embossed a sentiment on vellum and also created a wooden plank background using Versafine Clair ink. This was a quick card to create and you can do similar cards for your friends and family for Christmas or other winter time holidays.

Handmade 5.5 inch square encouragement card with a colorful teal and purple color scheme made using Dewlet die cuts.

Unique Background with Dewlets

The new Dewlet etched metal die is so versatile! I have used it to create an interesting background in this card project. I stamped a beautiful pattern in VersaMagic and placed the Dewlet shapes on the background of the card.

Handmade red snowflake holiday and christmas card.

Glowing Red Glittery Snowflake

For today’s card, I used the Sparkle Embossing Powder to create the beautiful snowflake on a bright red cardstock. I used VersaMark Embossing Ink to stamp the snowflake. Once the embossing powder was melted I blended some red inks with a sponge dauber around the edges of the card. This adds a beautiful glow to the card and I finished the card with a sentiment in black. This is a perfect project to be mass-produced for your Christmas cards.

Check out this video to see how I used them to make a beautiful, distressed background for my Christmas card and matching envelope. The colors are so rich and vibrant and create the perfect matching set.

Learn How To Make Three Unique Bowls Using Polyform Clay

Ink is not just for paper. You can use it on fabric, metal and more specifically Polyform clay. You can use inks to transform polymer clay projects into a wide variety of pieces. Use ink to simply color your clays projects, use with stamps to add designs, or blend it into the clay to create a new color clay. For this project, I create three different bowls using Sculpey Souffle clay with VesaMagic Dew Drop and StazOn inks and demonstrate several techniques when using inks. Hope I pique your interest and give these projects a try.

Two spring themed handmade greeting cards featuring rainboot images.

Rainboots Themed "Happy Spring" Card

VersaMagic inks have a longer drying time so they are perfect to use with stencils where you can use multiple colors, and even blend them if desired. I love to use stencils, but I really don't like to waste the ink that is left on them. Rather than clean the stencil, I like to lightly spritz the inked side of the stencil, flip it over, and place it on the second piece of cardstock creating a watercolored panel. See how I created two cards with the same stencil!
