Watercoloring Resist Effects with StazOn Studio Glaze

Create a slightly dimensional watercolor effect using StazOn Studio Glaze with Ink Potion No. 9 and Memento inks to create a glaze-like finish.

Watercoloring Resist Effects with StazOn Studio Glaze

1. Fix stencil onto a watercolor paper with washi tape or similar.

2. Apply Studio Glaze onto the watercolor paper using InkBlusher. For this project I used StazOn Studio Glaze in Emerald City, Cactus Green, and Blue Hawaii.

3. It is easier to put some Studio Glaze onto the Craft Mat and then use the InkBlusher to dab the color.

4. Here is the beautiful blended pattern once the stencil is removed. Allow to dry.

5. The Studio Glaze will now act as a resist! Dab Memento Rose Bud onto an acrylic block and mist with Ink Potion No. 9.

6. With a brush, paint on the Rose Bud over the Studio Glaze pattern.

7. Wipe off any excess Rose Bud color from the Studio Glaze pattern easily with a paper towel.
