The image on my card is one of a lady who should be in the no judgement zone since she has her own style and is proud of it! May we all promote peace, love and understanding every day so we can have these beneficial feelings at least in our small part of the world.
When asked to do a project for Peace, Love and Understanding, I immediately grabbed for this oh so cute stamp and die set. In the background you will find "I Love You" in French and Braille, stamped with an ink pad so close to Kraft, you can barely tell its there.
International Day of Peace is a time to celebrate our global unity and the wonderful things that bring us together! This colorful sentiment is great for anyone who is far away but near in your heart.
When my kids were little, one of our favorite things to do was to gaze up at the sky and look for shapes in the clouds. Of course after rain storms we were looking for rainbows. This card combines both with Radiant Neon Amplify! Check it out!
Creating texture and dimension is so easy with the amazing Neon Amplify. The perfect amount of bulk to create loads of interest on cards and other projects - have you tried your hand at it yet? You will simply love it!
Dabbling in my art journal again but this time with a simple and elegant not-so-Halloweeny page. We are not big into Halloween here but since I had this cute little spider (not that they are ever cute) I thought I would play around with a classy scary page.
For those of us in the U.S. the Labor Day weekend is a marker as the end of summer. If you are fortunate enough to be invited to a party of some sort you'll probably want to bring a small hostess gift. This little bag fits the bill!
See how Tear It Tape can adhere burlap to paper in this Seashell Ocean card.
Sometimes you just want to let your friend how much they mean to you. Making them a special card will do just that…with a bit of sparkle, some shine and shimmer your love will shine…one inch at a time!
“No great achievement is accomplished without a bit of hard work.” So true so true and Labor Day is the perfect day to kick back and acknowledge those achievements!
"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think and loved more than you know.” There are opportunities daily to show our support to other women who may be fighting battles that we are completely unaware of. Why not give that support with a card?
My niece is a real girly girl – but with such a strong personality! I used a recent photo of her to create a beautiful layout using strong colors – reminding her that she is capable of anything, but most of all – a homegrown natural beauty. I used StazOn Studio Glaze to create the beautiful doll for this layout.
This is my Woman’s Equality Day project with a little wink. It shows the original 1971 Resolution Text in the background (thank you Wikipedia). Ladies, everyone of us has got the power to make the world a little bit better day by day. We delite ourself and others with our handmade gifts, cards and decorations. So let’s craft :)
I love this sentiment paired with boot steps and a doily stencil. Tough and soft at the same time. Who in your life could use a card like this? Your mom, sister, friend, coworker? I will be sending this one to a friend that just got a promotion at work…she will love it!
Here’s a salute to all the women I know…and that goes for you! We don’t take credit for all the super things we do on a day to day basis…from stay-at-home mom’s taking care of homes, their family and all the extra errands that randomly pop up. Check out this super woman card!
Fun embossing, cute washi tape and for those in my generation, a super fun Viewmaster!
I found this nifty pair of canisters at a flea market recently and I thought it would be fun to kick it up a notch and give them a little French flair.
This card is dedicated to the one of the greats. Julia Child brought the pleasure of French cuisine to American kitchens at a time when marshmellow flush was considered a delicacy. So here's to you Julia, Happy Birthday!
In this project I show you how easy it is to create an individual place mat. I love the results with Memento Luxe Ink Pads and Fabrico Marker. Stamping and drawing on fabric is just a little bit different to stamping on cardstock.
Monoprinting makes a lot of fun and offers a wide variety of options to create several layers on a project. Experimenting with this technique using only my craft mat, I found out that Radiant Neon Amplify! is the perfect color to add new dimension and feel to the surface.
I love creating colorful cards and the same goes if it's masculine. I get inspired by colors and this fun Kaleidacolor (Blue Breeze) was the starting point of my card.
This is a fun and easy project that brightens up any entertaining space!
I have discovered you can watercolor with almost any medium. Today I am using irRESISTible Pico’s. This is such a fun image to color and with the Pico’s, you can give the gumballs a little something extra.
This card works like a sudoku puzzle. It comes along with several letters and embellishment. Because of using Tack’n’Peel, everything adheres non-permanent on the surface, so you can spend a lot of funny time combining it and trying to find out how many words, phrases and designs are possible to create. Hubby had a lot of fun with the possibilities.
I like the colors of Spring! The Brilliance Pearlescent inks are just perfect for the subtle shine and lightness for this time of the year!
Friendship is a precious gift. I’ve got a couple of really good friends and am very thankful for finding them. Therefore it was on my heard to make a friendship celebrating project. The picture shows me with some of my girls from our private weekly MoMa-Crafting-Club.
Sometimes creating a flat card is just not good enough, sometimes something different is refreshing. For today I created an accordion fold card inside a little box. Not only can it be used for the card, you can add a small gift inside for the recipient too.
The lazy days of summer are just about over, so I thought a shaker card with real sand from Clearwater Beach, Florida might be a fun card to send someone in the north, to remind them of their vacation memories.
We all love traveling, and I for one would never be home if traveling was free - as the saying goes! See how to make a travel journal project.
Enjoy the journey as much as the destination and record every memory made along the way in this fun, easy collage style travel journal.
Remember the days when we drove around with Thomas Guides in our cars? Big books of maps that not only helped you navigate the area but you had to learn how to navigate the book! Today the maps are likely outdated but quite useful for all sorts of projects.
Summer usually signals a break in our normal routines, be it a long vacation stay or perhaps just a few interesting day trips here and there. Either way it is an opportunity for us to make some memories and preserve them in a handmade travel journal.
Cathy Andronicou shows you how to keep your travel memories on you at all times with this Parisian Key Fob.
We don’t have a name for “Tacky Tourists” in Germany. But it’s a really good and funny description for these kind of travelers and I think, we should have a German word for them. For this card I created a new road sign. A couple of years ago, my BFF Dagmar and I visited the Gizeh Pyramides at Kairo, Agypt.
Isn't it funny all of the little bits and pieces you collect on a road trip...everything from bottle caps, sea shells collected on the beach, sand saved in tiny bottles to the tacky tourist offerings like plastic hula dolls, pink rubber flamingos and the ever popular key chains. Well this kitschy shadow box is just the ticket to save all those funky bits in one place.
The big canvas has room for every single State, but doesn’t presents them in a usual map view. The states are listed in alphabetical order. See how I created these with letter die cuts.
Show your thanks with this shimmering bold sentiment from Artist in Residence Carisa Zglobicki.
Flag Day is huge in my household. Show your patriotism this Flag Day by dressing up a pair of jeans or capris with a stencil and a little ink. As a bonus, you are all set for the 4th of July also! :)
Combining Stars and Stripes is always fun. I haven'tt used my awesome Radiant Neon inks for a little while now, so that inspired me to create a rainbow of stars:)
I really adore how this card came out, especially when I took it outside to photograph, the 3D elements cast wonderful shadows over the front of the stark white card stock giving it a completely different look to what I had imagined when I first thought of what to create.
I love red and blue, I love America - so when I have the chance to create something that is so close to my heart I really am in crafting heaven. This card celebrates my love for this amazing country and some real crafting goodness all thrown into one gorgeous themed card.
Cathy Androinicou is here to show you how easy it is to make your very own summer lilies shirt using our All-Purpose Ink & other Imagine Crafts products. This can be a perfect new addition to your summer wardrobe or gift.
Do you have some old T-Shirts in the closet that you never wear because they are just too plain? Dress them up with a stencil and an ink pad. The first swipe of ink always make me nervous (it is a $3 t-shirt after all), but then we you see your shirt coming to life, it is super fun!
My summer wardrobe is full of boring plain shirts, how about yours? This year I was so happy to receive some of the gorgeous Memento Luxe inks and have quite literally gone to town jazzing up my clothes with my favorite images. Check it out!
Is your husband or son still thinking your hobby is just for women? I've made a men’s shirt, perfect for summer time, that will convince them otherwise! Since Martin (my husband) has seen it he’s attended to my colors, stamps and stencils in a whole new way. This shirt is a great way to involve everyone in your crafting endevours.
A delicious DIY tank, just in time for summer!
This is a fun project for the family to join in and help create. The labels have a purpose holding onto the flatware wrapped in napkins but also add to the party decor too.
It is that time of year when casual gatherings in the backyard are the rule! Don't know what to bring as a host/hostess gift? This is a quick gift that shows your opinion and appreciation of the Master Griller. Check it out!
Carisa Zglobicki takes over your screen with this empowering sentiment featuring bold vibrant colors from our irRESISTible Neon texture sprays in a Jackson Pollock style canvas.
Father's Day is celebrated around the world -not always at the same time, here in the Southern hemisphere we celebrate in September. I never miss an opportunity to create a card celebrating the dads. I always love texture on a masculine card and it is so easy to add as you will see from my tutorial.
Do you have a poker face? Surprise your loved one with this fun masculine aces book. Works great for birthday's or Father's Day!
A little iron, a little leather and one cool dude...a perfect start for any guy in your life.
Do you struggle to create cards for men? It doesn't have to be difficult at all - throw a couple of inks together with some embellishments and die-cuts and you have an instant winner. I am sharing this quick Father's day card with you using only a few inks to create interest, texture and pattern.
Carisa Zglobicki brings you this masculine inspired card using Imagine Crafts StazOn Studio Glaze. Subtle yet vibrant and just in time for Father's Day.
There is something undeniably beautiful about a wedding - friends and family come together to support and celebrate those exchanging vows and becoming one. Make a keepsake for your next wedding event.
Love is definitely in the air this time of the year! Here is a special Bridal Shower card for that bride that likes to mix it up a bit. This not your traditional card but a tiny mixed media piece of art. You can have fun using the Bride's colors and flowers, whatever you like to personalize it.
Can you picture one of these favors topping a place setting or perhaps lined up together on a tray next to the door so your wedding guests will see them as they leave? Favors are one of those things that are made even more exciting by the wrapping! This idea is designed for wedding favors and other occasions.
Vintage weddings are kind of romantic and elegant with a touch of past times. It can be defined very individually but the romantic touch is always presented. This really romantic sparkling flower clip can be used in several ways: the bride’s hair, the groom’s buttonhole or, in a bigger dimension, as wedding bouquet, or for any decoration.
My sweetheart and I were married way back in 1986, right out of high school. At that time I knew nothing of the fun stuff the paper arts world had in store for me. See how I made this puzzle piece card to celebrate our union.
StazOn Studio Glaze is a perfect way to add bright vibrant colors when spread on your project but it can also provide amazing depth and texture which is why I used it both ways on my wedding make-over place cards. Since my colors are blue and gold I decided to use blue for our female guests and gold for the male guests.
When my husband and I originally got married they didn't even have "Save the Date" announcements so I thought it would be fun to create one. I wanted to include the puzzle theme - "two become one" as well as the polka dots and this is what I came up with.
It's always fun to gift a little surprise to each of your guests at your weding...these little favor boxes are a beautiful addition to present them in.
These candle sticks are a great way to carry your theme and colors into your reception. Decorate a set for each table and give them away as gifts to your guests.
Tina McDonald shows you how easy it is to make beautiful wedding decor using Versamark and Embossing Powder. Who says you have to spend a fortune to have your special day look like like a million bucks?
Savannah O'Gwynn demonstrates this fun wedding gift idea that adds the perfect personal touch to any bridal party. Great for groomsmen, bridesmaids, wedding guests and more!
Savannah O'Gwynn introduces you to just how simple it is to color on fabric using Fabrico markers to create these adorable coffee coasters. This project is perfect for any age!
Graduations are just around the corner and these young people are going to be getting a lot of gift cards. Now they need a place to keep them organized. Aren't you glad you stopped by today so I can help solve that problem with this one of a kind Gift Card Organizer?!?
Graduation is such a special day as they walk across the stage to receive their diplomas. It is the end of childhood and a beginning into adulthood. Commemorate your graduate with a specially made card to recognize their achievement. Simple to make, just change the colors to coincide with your school theme.
This little flower pot holds more than posies...pull up on the flowers and you've got a nifty little hiding spot for a gift card. I've included the template for the flower pot in the tutorial for easy assemblages. Happy crafting!
As soon as I heard the theme for this project was gift card holders, I immediately thought of a pocket card. Of course with my own little twist. It is the perfect way to be a little bit 'sneaky' with an unexpected gift...as you will see from my tutorial. Enjoy!
Gift cards, money or homemade coupons, this is a great way to give them to your special person. It also doubles as a cute storage envelope for all of their monetary gifts. This is fun to make and easy to change the gift theme.
Some times it is just so much simpler to give that picky Teenager a gift card than buy a gift. I never know what to buy my nieces mainly because they have everything twice over already! I decided to create a slider card and figured that I could hide a gift card within the mechanism.
Ready for summer? Memorial Day kicks off summer in the US and this card is great for sending greetings or using as an invitation to a July 4th BBQ.
A special thank you to all who have served our great nation yesterday and today.
Nothing says Memorial Day to me like an American flag. We artist are never happy unless we are grunging, distressing or finding new ways to present an old custom. Let me show you how to achieve a new look for Old Glory.
Leave it to Artist In Residence Savannah O'Gwynn to discover how to create a CAS (Clean And Simple) card with a big impact! Savannah shows how to use Metallic Creative Medium to create simple and easy cards that are sure to get noticed!
This is a very versatile design that can be used with any themed sentiment for any occassion.
I like this time of the year for it's flowers, butterflies and freshness. So let's use our liking and bring it inside our home :)
White is such an amazing blank canvas - from cardstock to canvas to fabric. White enables you to create and alter whatever you can dream up. For those special afternoon tea time treats on the patio I altered some white linen serviettes to make them a bit more special.
Baerbel Born uses Fabrico Markers on fabric to create fun cross stitch patterns and designs without sewing – fun project for the entire family!
Cathy Andronicou shows how to create this fabulous photo frame that's accented with IMAGINE Crafts' Iridescent Creative Medium. Because the frame has a base coat of chalkboard paint, the sentiment can be changed when you switch out the photo – genius!
My mom loves birds and so for this Mother's day I wanted to make a card that incorporates a little birdie. Thankfully I have some really cute stamps and with the help of the amazing StazOn Studio Glaze I could add some really amazing color to my image. For my sentiment I used two stamps and stamped them in different colors for a fun look.
Have you been inspired by the Bokeh style backgrounds found on Pinterest? Carisa Zglobicki shows you how easy it is to create this style of background using IMAGINE Crafts' Fireworks craft sprays and Memento Luxe ink.
Mother's Day is one day of the year that is common to us all, we all have or have had a Mother, what better way to say 'I love you' than with flowers! The beautiful flowers featured on this card will not wilt or fade.
Faux Gelli Plate Prints are a great way to create unique and fun cards and gift bags to have on hand for any occasion. The Craft Mat and Memento Luxe inkers make creating faux Gelli prints so quick and easy you'll have a stack of beautiful prints in no time at all.
Do you want to sample the technique done with a Gelli Plate but don't have the room or the budget for one more piece of equipment? Why not try this "faux" Gelli Plate technique done with your Imagine Crafts Craft Mat? Simple, fun and amazing results are in store for you.
New trends in papercrafting and mixed media are using a Gelli Plate. I have found that the Craft Mat by Imagine Crafts works like a charm without the added expense. Let me show you how easy it is to incorporate this technique into your next card project.
Working with the Gelli Plate is one of the hottest trends right now, and I have to admit that I don't own one. I've really wanted to experiment with the monoprinting technique, and I soon discovered the the IMAGINE Crafts Craft Mat is perfect for achieving the same results!
This is fun way to take your favorite colors and create your own watercolor backgrounds using the IMAGINE Crafts Craft Mat as your working surface. Here are a couple of versions using similar color combinations.
Gelli Printing is a firm favorite of mine because it offers the ability to just play and experiment - and with the wonderful inks and mediums available it is such a joy creating textures. A great alternative to the Gelli Plate is to use the Craft Mat to create faux Gelli prints for some quick cards.
After a long, cold winter here in New England the thought of Spring flowers is a little ray of hope and sunshine in all of our lives! This card shows how brilliant yet simple a Spring card can be created using a stencil and Creative Medium Metallics.
In Germany we say "April, April, der macht was er will“ which means the weather in April is capricious. It could be rainy or sunny- almost like summer time here. “April showers bring May flowers” is the American adage. And this card suits to both countries! This card is very simple to make and has a surprising illusion effect.
When you want just a whisper of color, StazOn Studio Glaze is the product to use! On this project Studio Glaze was applied to the back side of Vertigo Breeze and also onto glossy cardstock.
There is a wide range of symbolism associated with poppies...everything from loyalty, beauty, magic, consolation, fertility and even eternal life. They are in my opinion one of spring's most beautiful flowers with their ruffled, delicate petals and striking colors. While they are only around for a short period of time you can capture their beauty in this easy to paint canvas to enjoy all year long.
Get creative with Amplify! with this fun project creating a boquet of Spring blooms. When heated on waxed paper, Amplify has the look and feel of suede!

I adore the new Imagine Crafts Creative Medium! It is so easy to use and clean up, you will find it hard to go wrong. It dries relatively quickly and does not have an offensive smell, two things that are very important to me in a product. When I created my tester pieces I fell instantly in love with the Blue so had to use it on a proper project first, what better than a background for a spring inspired card.
The texture from the new Amplify is so fluffy! It reminds me of a sheep's wool, so here's a fun and card that I created in celebration of Chinese New Year, the Year of the Sheep.

Amplify, StazOn Studio Glaze and oh so super cool new Creative mediums. Today I am sharing a simple and easy card using the StazOn Studio Glaze, which just gives a perfect WOW to an Acetate card.
This project is based on transforming a simple, basic wall clock into a mini work of art.
I am really loving the Bokeh effect trend that is appearing all around the web lately, I worked out with a few test pieces that you could re-create it relatively easily with the amazing Memento Luxe in Wedding Dress and a piece of cardstock with varying sized circles cut into it.
The Radiant Neon inks make me happy... I adore the pop of color they give, especially against a black background! When I sat down to make this card, my goal was to make something lovey-dovey but still have it usable for a guy or a girl, and for any occasion that a 'hello' was needed. You never know when you'll need to grab a virtual hug from your stash to send out!
I love a fantastic background paired with a great sentiment. Sometimes that's all you really need to create a great card - not a lot of layers or patterned paper. You can make your inks work for you in so many different ways, so why not show them off?
