VersaFine Clair Ink and large sponge daubers make great patterned background papers for all of your projects! Check out this video to see how I used them to make a beautiful, distressed background for my Christmas card and matching envelope. The colors are so rich and vibrant and create the perfect matching set.
These cards use patterned stamps that are not holiday-specific and simple shapes you can cut with basic dies, punches, or even just scissors. These simple shape cards are also perfect for crafting with kids in preparation for the holidays!
How about a little out-of-this-world fun? When trying to come up with a unique card I thought of the theme aliens, so created this sky scene with shades of grey and silver and drew up some simple saucers to decorate the skies.
One tiny stamp and VersaFine in Onyx Black creates a cute and simple card design. I stamped the open line flower and then used the Irresistible Pico Embellisher to fill the petals. The shine you get after the product dries is breathtaking.
I stamped a beautiful flower bunch from Simon Says Stamp with Brilliance Ink on a watercolor paper. I added some water on a small scoop of Walnut Crystals and painted the entire bunch with it. This is a monotonic theme card and I have used only one pigment to create all the highlights and shadows. I stamped a simple sentiment with Pinecone Versafine Clair ink and the painted panel is ready.
Layering stencils are trending now and we can create beautiful designs and make techniques with the different patterns.
Summer can be busy with a hype of activities outside! But just in case there are days when you feel like staying inside you can beat the heat with a cardmaking session. In this tutorial, I go over some basic techniques that you can use on a variety of designs.
For this project, I stamped the sentiment “Love Blossoms Here” onto watercolor paper, personalized it with alphabet stamps, added wire hanging and added a book paper backing to represent the family stories that get created along the way and then passed on.
I used kraft banner pendants with doilies and gorgeous flowers to create a beautiful wedding banner. My favorite part is the delicate rosebuds created with Creative Medium in Iridescent Purple. Against the kraft paper, it pops just enough to create a wonderful background.
The wedding season is approaching quickly and today I wanted to show you that anyone can create an elegant wedding ensemble without breaking the bank. This entire set was made using plain white cardstock that was elevated to something special with help from products by Imagine.
